After that closed, it is said that John had an auto dealership in New York. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of Willard Heath and Isabella (Brigham) Heath. The Heath's had a mercantile in Poughkeepsie from 1850-1914. After his father died. His mother took her family to New Hartford, CT. John moved to New York City about 1931.
